Privacy Policy

How Unleft LLC handles information in the app, on the website and through support.

Last updated July 17, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Unleft LLC (“Unleft,” “we,” “us” or “our”) handles information through the Unleft iOS app, unleft.app, support communications and related services.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information: name and email address supplied by you or by Sign in with Apple, plus authentication and account status information generated when you create or use an account.
  • User ID: an account identifier generated through Supabase to keep your workspace, free allowance and subscription entitlement scoped to the correct user.
  • Purchase history: product identifiers, subscription and entitlement status, renewal or expiration information and offer status received from Apple and RevenueCat when you view, buy, restore or manage Premium.
  • Product interaction used for app functionality: the count and timing of successful new card creations generated as you use Unleft, solely to enforce the monthly free allowance.
  • Support information: messages, screenshots, diagnostic details and files you choose to send by email when asking for help.
  • Website operations: ordinary hosting, request, security and diagnostic logs generated automatically by Netlify and infrastructure providers when a browser requests the website.

Unleft collects information in the following ways:

3. Private content in the app

Card titles, notes, extracted text, dates, reminders, photos, documents, screenshots, voice notes and attachments are kept in your Unleft workspace on the iPhone. They are not sent to RevenueCat or used for advertising analytics. Unleft does not automatically upload this content.

4. Service providers

  • Apple: App Store distribution and billing, Sign in with Apple and platform services you choose to use.
  • Supabase: authentication, account identifiers, monthly creation count, subscription entitlement reconciliation and account deletion operations.
  • RevenueCat: subscription product, purchase and entitlement status. Unleft uses the authenticated account ID as the RevenueCat App User ID.
  • Netlify: website hosting and ordinary website security/request logs.

Providers may process information under their own terms and privacy notices. We require providers we use to handle information consistently with applicable law and the purposes described here.

5. How we use information

  • provide, authenticate, secure and maintain Unleft;
  • enforce the free creation allowance and Premium entitlement;
  • process, restore and reconcile purchases;
  • respond to support and account requests;
  • prevent abuse, investigate incidents and comply with legal obligations.

6. Analytics, advertising, tracking and sale

Unleft does not sell personal information and does not use private card content to build advertising profiles. Unleft does not analyze private card content or use general app activity for advertising. RevenueCat uses purchase history for subscription analytics and entitlement operations. Unleft does not use purchase or account data for across apps advertising tracking.

7. Retention

Account identifiers, monthly allowance records and entitlement records are generally retained while the account exists. Purchase and transaction-related records may be retained as needed for restoration, security, dispute resolution and legal, tax, accounting or platform obligations; Apple maintains its own purchase records. Support communications are retained while a request is handled and afterward only for a reasonable business, security or legal recordkeeping period. When you delete your account, Unleft deletes associated account data that it is not required or permitted to retain. Private content stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, delete the app, delete the account or erase the device. Exported files remain wherever you choose to store them.

8. Deletion and choices

You can initiate account deletion in Unleft through Control Center, then Account & Sync, then Delete Account. You can also contact privacy@unleft.app. Read Privacy Choices and Delete Account for details.

You can remove a reminder inside Unleft, change notification permission in iOS Settings and stop optional camera, photo or microphone access through iOS permission settings. Where processing depends on a choice you made, changing that setting or deleting the related content stops future use, subject to records we must retain.

9. Children

Unleft is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

10. International processing

Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, processing is subject to applicable safeguards and provider agreements.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, but no device, transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. See Security.

12. Changes

We may update this policy when the product, law or service providers change. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
